I Love To Wear My Workwear Now

I have worked in an MNC in Melbourne, Australia for the past year. When I started working I was in total awe of the MNC culture, from their ethics to their uniforms. With time, the initial excitement faded reality sunk in. The work load increased and so did the expectations of my seniors. Then came a time when I literally started looking for reasons to go to my office. After a lot of deep thought and chit-chat with fellow colleagues, I came to realise that the majority of tmy peers felt the same!

It was then that we all started seriously thinking about what change could be done to make the office environment more interesting. We realised that neither the quantum of work nor the bosses could be changed - the only thing we could change was our workwear. Upon this realization, we had a round of discussions with our bosses. The outcome of those discussions was giving me the responsibility of thinking about what changes could be made to our uniform. Lucky me!

I came across a Fashion Designer who himself gave me the reference of The Uniform Super Store, an online portal that deals with corporate uniforms in Sydney and the whole of Australia. One look and I was immediately impressed! Their catalogue had the best designs and patterns that I have ever seen as part of a workwear collection. Instead of the usual bowties, scarves and black-and-white combinations of formal attire, they had patterns in embroidery, graphically printed shirts and a bright combination of uniforms.

The Uniform Super Store had something for every field of work. I saw the most amazing collection of chef uniforms, corporate uniforms for women, hospitality uniforms, Salon uniforms for Australia and corporate uniforms used in Sydney. Their association with the best brands in fabric was clearly visible. I knew the Uniform Super Store was equipped with the best range of uniforms to accommodate the changes that I needed in my office. Not only did they have the best range of uniforms I had seen, they also offer a 24 hr helpline. This was a fantastic service as it gave my boss the opportunity to contact them directly if any queries arose regarding my choice of uniform. It also gives the added reassurance that you can always speak to an expert team member regarding any queries you have wherever you are at anytime.

I then showed the online store portal to my boss, needless to say he was instantly impressed! After discussing the issue in the next board meeting, it was decided that our boring workwear would be replaced by the vivacious attire from a collection of The Uniform Super Store. So now, our uniforms have embroidery on them on Monday and Tuesday, a vibrant color combination on Wednesday and Thursday, and an informal message printed t-shirt and jeans on casual Fridays!

Till now, like others I thought tha uniforms  are one of the most boring and dull looking clothing material, to be worn out of compulsion. The Uniform Super Store changed my perception. Their online catalogue opened my eyes to the variety that can be given to the uniforms, helping them look anything but lively.
They have everything, from the nursing uniforms Australia needs to the chef wear uniforms that the Hospitality Industry requires. Their creativity and innovative designs has given people a lot to choose from. What I liked the most was their variety. They not only have the common category of trousers, shirts and T-shirts but even knitwear, jumpers and accessories like headwear and what not! It was like visiting a mall with multiple shops rather than just one! With the added advantage of being online, it is surely a one stop solution for all the requirements of corporate uniforms online.
Their embroidery patterns really impressed me. It wasn’t as if just because it is embroidery it is meant for ladies, the store had designs for men too. A simple logo stitched with threads doesn’t add a bit of femininity but brings royalty to the whole work wear. This is what really intrigued me! They have made sure that every element that they incorporate is useful for people of all kinds rather than restricting it to some.
Since the current collection that I am working on is for the Hospitality Industry, chef wear uniforms really inspired me. Their work reflected the understanding that they had for the industry. It seemed their every piece of uniform had hospitality written all over it. Every uniform seemed like a theme, straight out of the temple of food, the kitchen. I picked up few patterns and color combinations from the online catalogue and after teaming up with the accessories that the store has, I was ready to design my own work!
With the Uniform Super Store, I now have a ready-made reference point with which I can not only take inspiration but compare my work with. I am all prepared for my future challenges!
